From the Ryhsome archivel, I found this website that was around from 2006-2012 called Nasty Nets. The website was a surf club started by a group of artist friends that would collaborate on context free posts of content discovered while surfing online. On the website, random images and threads would be started, users would comment on eachothers posts and echo modern day social media sites. This website came to be as the internet was becoming more centralized and the social media model was beginning to take hold. This work is relevant today as there are friends, digital tribes, and cyber communities within social media that post images, or their own work.  An echo chamber of responses and feedback may ensue.
